Every year around Thanksgiving, we think about the people who made a positive impact to our life in the past year. This year, Justin is THE one we are most GRATEFUL for. We bought a little ski condo in Northstar in this summer. We need someone who we can trust to build our vision remotely (we are in the Bay Area). Justin stood out, from the rest of other 4 contractors whom we interviewed with, because of his exceptional experience and honesty. It doesn't take long to prove his integrity. Days after we started our remodel, Justin found out a major issue at the Association's sewer lines, he immediately brought it to our attention. If we worked with another contractor, the problem might be just covered up, and we will never know why we will have so much plumbing issues in the future. But Justin's professionalism and integrity doesn't allow him to bypass the exposed problem. The county inspector expressed his appreciation during the pre-build inspection, and said to me: "you hired the right guy". The inspector also made positive comments about Justin's past work. This along speaks to the high quality of all projects that Justin has done in the past. Our remodel is still on hold until the HOA fixes their plumbing. We just can not wait to share how much we appreciate Justin's integrity, honesty, and his mission to build everything to the highest standard in the field. Once our remodel is completed, we will upload some pictures. At this point, we have the full confidence that Justin will transform the original condo to our dream ski home for decades to enjoy! Justin Linkey and his team have been amazing to work with. We did a complete remodel of our 1980’s Tahoma home and they handled every detail delivering a high quality product on time, even with many add ons we asked for along the way. Justin is incredibly hard working and I am not sure he actually sleeps, and he made it easy to trust the work even though we were doing the remodel remotely (we live in the Bay Area) I almost don’t want to tell people how great they are because once the word gets out, they will be too busy for us! For now we already have them signed on to do another project - as Justin says “I like to stay busy”

We've worked with a bunch of contractors across several homes over the years and I have no reservations recommending this company. I had kept my schedule open so that I could make trips to our second home as needed during the construction... and it was never needed. Justin is very reasonable when it comes to setting expectations, making commitments, and discussing design options. There is a level of excellence in the final product that reflects skill, experience, good judgement, and pride in the work. It's possible that past projects have lowered my expectations, but Justin's work ethic is so solid and the finished product so well done that I can't see how anyone could be less than thrilled. I hope that he'll have time to help us build out our property in the future.

I could not recommend them more. They do great work and have great communication. I did a full remodel of the entire place and I worked with Justin who was very helpful and patient throughout the whole process, he gave us many options and adapted to whatever budget we set. He always had the best attitude and went the extra mile to accommodate whatever we asked of him. I have worked with many contractors before and they are the best I have ever worked with.

Linkey & Sons did a great job on my whole-house remodel project. They are very good at communication, which is important for any project, and is absolutely necessary for a project when the client is out of town most of the time. Justin kept me updated by posting frequent photos to a shared drive, emails, and frequent phone calls. He also identified when decisions needed to be made well in advance so that there were few, if any, surprises or urgent decisions to make.Justin was also very helpful working with me on design choices throughout the project. I had very specific technical goals for certain aspects of the project and Justin worked through various options with me, evaluating impacts on cost, quality and timing. He was also willing to work with me to try new energy efficiency features. In some cases, my energy efficiency goals required his team to implement new techniques and they were more than willing to learn.

Our home sustained significant damage due to the 2023 winter storms. We were fortunate Linkey & Sons fit us into their schedule to do the repairs and we took the opportunity to have additional home improvements done as well. Throughout the whole process, Justin was accessible, replied promptly to all our questions and requests and was helpful when we had to make decisions. What was really nice was once we had a conversation with Justin about an item or request, the work got done, even the smallest items or additional work requests, with no follow-up or reminder ever needed. What might stand out the most though is the quality of the work that was performed. They did an outstanding job and we are extremely pleased with how all the repairs and improvements turned out. Without hesitation, we recommend Linkey & Sons.

Linkey & Sons Construction recently completed a project consisting of an entryway/deck rebuild, installation of new exterior siding and doors, and some interior remodeling at our home. Justin and Chris and their team did a great job start to finish, were pleasant to work with, and helped us to successfully transform our dated, dark, 70's chalet-style house, which has been in our family for nearly 50 years, into a bright, comfortable, low-maintenance and updated mountain home--just as we had wanted! Their work is excellent, and they came up with a number of creative suggestions about changes we could make (not involving moving walls around!) to address structural & design issues--all of which improved the outcome of our project. Justin was organized and responsive and provided good guidance on how to best navigate the Tahoe permitting process. The Linkey brothers, Justin and Chris, and their mighty crew of Manuel, Manuel, Tom, Scott, and Ryan, just finished a major year-long renovation of our home in Dollar Point. We could not have been happier with the process of working with them, and with the result. They are true craftsmen, who take great care with the details that matter. They worked very well with our architect and designer, and did a stellar job of directing an array of sub-contractors, all of whom they have great relationships with. Justin and Chris always listened to what we wanted, and always tried to accommodate us, though they often had great ideas of their own that often swayed our decisions. Bi-weekly invoices were always very clear, providing great detail on each charge, including those from the subcontractors. At the end of each day, Justin and team did a thorough cleanup of the site. Our neighbors were never disturbed, and remarked on how friendly our contractors were. And indeed they were. We always enjoyed all of our discussions with Justin and Chris and their team. And we absolutely love the new home they have built for us! We give Linkey and Sons Construction our highest recommendation.

Justin, his brother Chris and their team did an incredible job delivering what we initially thought might be a kitchen renovation that became a full house renovation in Dollar Point through the challenges of COVID. They have helped us create a vacation dream home - their attention detail and woodworking is exceptional - and along the way do a great job of guiding on trade-offs and decisions - while being flexible with our choices. Would recommend them to anyone, particularly those in Dollar Point and the north shore - they have a long history of beautiful renovations in the area.

My husband and I highly recommend Linkey and Sons Construction. They updated our kitchen and bathrooms in our Dollar Point home. This included replacing all appliances, cabinets and creating an island in the kitchen. The bathrooms were gutted and upgraded. Carpet and tile on the first floor were removed and replaced with laminate flooring. Throughout this entire process Justin quickly responded to all of my multiple questions and requests. The company is professional and their work is excellent.

Linkey & Sons Construction did a fantastic job remodeling our entire house, both inside and out.On the exterior, they replaced our large dilapidated deck with a new redwood deck surface and redwood/hog wire railing. They added a new roof structure over the entry area, new trellis over the garage entrance, new entry stairs/walkway, new windows, and full BMP improvements.On the interior, they did a complete remodel of the entry, stairway, laundry room, kitchen, living room, family room, dining room, bathrooms, and three bedrooms. New hardwood, tile and carpeted floors, new paint and finishes throughout the house. New wood ceilings in the bedrooms and entry area.The team (Justin, Chris, and Manuel) were always on-time, neat, respectful and highly professional. The attention to detail was top-notch, and communication was consistently excellent. The results exceeded our expectations!

I have had the pleasure of hiring Linkey Contruction to rebuild a custom wrap around deck they have posted on there website. They did a amazing job in the fall, rebuilding the deck, staying organized and aware of the weather conditions, meeting the finish schedule before the winter months.
